In 1989, the Blues played their home games on the high school
baseball field while work was being done converting the defunct
softball field at the Plum City Legion Park into a facility suitable
to host amateur baseball.
Volunteers from the community, and members of the Blues team, helped remove
fencing, backstops and bleachers to create a fabulous small
town baseball field. The friendly confines of the Plum City Legion
Park were complete and proudly displayed local businesses advertised
on the outfield fence in the spring of 1990.
Plum City Legion Park has since hosted two WBA State Semi-finals and
has been boasted as one of the finest facilities in the local area
to play on. To the fans, it is far and away the best place in Western
Wisconsin to watch the great game of baseball.
