On Thursday June 30th, the Plum City Blues (league 4-6, overall 6-10) defeated the Hager City Skeeters 10-1
in SCVBL play. Hager City scored the 1st run of the game in the bottom of the second. Plum City tied it
up in the top of the 5th when Kevin Mueller scored on a botched double play. In the 6th Plum City took the
lead on an RBI single by Matt Sperger. In the top of the 7th the bottom of the Blues order took over
the game. Josh Bauer, Kris Krueger and Nathan Stein each scored in the 7th and the 8th to bust the game
open. Brady Schroeder earned the win for the Blues. He pitched 6 innings, giving up no earned runs.
Tony Garner earned the save in relief. Stein had three hits on the day. Sperger had two.
